Couples’ Painting Date Night: Create, Communicate & Connect
Sometimes, going to therapy feels like a big step. Finding the time, knowing where to start, or feeling comfortable opening up can be difficult—even when you want tools to communicate better and feel closer to your partner.
Join us at Crafted Connection for a painting date night that combines creativity, connection, and practical relationship skills. While you paint, you’ll learn ways to communicate your needs, listen with greater understanding, and approach difficult conversations with more care. These are tools you can take home and practice in your everyday life together.
Painting also offers an opportunity to slow down. Focusing on colors, brushstrokes, and the canvas in front of you can feel calming, helping you settle into the present moment and giving your mind and body a break from everyday demands. Creating alongside your partner makes room to laugh, enjoy each other’s company, and connect through a shared experience.
Choose your favorite floral ghost—a cat, dog, or classic ghost—and spend an afternoon making something together. No painting experience is needed. Come as you are, get a little creative, and make time for your relationship.

Cost: $35 per painter • $70 for two painters

We’re two therapists who share a love for helping people connect, grow, and make room for joy. We created Crafted Connection to bring together meaningful skills, creative play, and the kind of connection that happens when people slow down and share an experience.
Through our work, we’ve seen how much people want to understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and feel more equipped to handle life’s ups and downs. We also know that learning those skills can feel a little intimidating. Sometimes, a paintbrush, a shared laugh, and a welcoming space can make it easier to get curious and try something new.
That’s why we pair painting and crafting with approachable education and practical tools for everyday well-being. Whether you’re opening a paint kit at home or joining us around the craft table, we want you to feel welcome, encouraged, and free to create without the pressure to get everything “right.”
While we’re therapists by profession, Crafted Connection’s kits and events are educational and recreational—not therapy or a replacement for mental health care. We bring our knowledge and heart to what we create, helping you explore skills you can carry into your daily life.
